Trail Hub is a beta mobile app for finding and coordinating group mountain bike rides. This policy explains the information collected during beta testing and how to contact us.

Information we collect

We collect account information such as email address and authentication status. We collect profile information you choose to add, including display name, bio, home region, and profile photo. We collect ride information you create or join, including ride title, description, start time, rider capacity, and location labels or map coordinates.

If you use comments, notifications, reports, or blocking, we store the information needed to provide those features, including comment text, notification records, report details, target snapshots, and block relationships.

Usage analytics

We collect limited product analytics to understand how the app is used, such as which screens are opened and when a ride or group is created or joined. These records are tied to your account identifier and your device, and include general device and app details like platform and app version. We do not send your email address, display name, ride or group titles, comment text, or map coordinates to our analytics provider. We do not use this information for advertising, and we do not combine it with data from other companies to track you across apps or websites.

How we use information

We use this information to operate Trail Hub, show relevant rides, support ride coordination, keep basic safety tools working, respond to support requests, and improve beta readiness.

Sharing

Trail Hub shows profile, ride, and comment information to authenticated riders when the app rules allow access. We do not sell personal information. We use service providers, including Supabase and Expo, to host, authenticate, store, and distribute the app, and PostHog to process the usage analytics described above.

Data deletion

You can delete your account from the Me screen in the Trail Hub app. Account deletion removes your account, profile, rides, joins, comments, notifications, and blocking relationships. Some safety, legal, backup, or support records may be retained where needed. If you cannot access the app, email support@trailhubapp.com from the email address used for your Trail Hub account.
